Join us in Atlanta for the 2018 PHELAP Conference
The Office of Government and Community Relations at Georgia Tech is honored to host the 2018 Public Higher Education Legislative Advocacy Professionals conference. The conference will be held on July 25-27, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Each year, this conference brings together talented advocacy professionals to explore best practices in legislative advocacy and share valuable resources with one another. This is the eleventh consecutive year of the PHELAP conference, and we hope you will join us for an exciting program. We are looking forward to showcasing some of the unique aspects of public higher education in Georgia and offering diverse speakers to stir innovative advocacy programming.
The conference will include session topics such as: recruiting young alumni into advocacy initiatives, engaging university presidents, avoiding interim drop-off and rewarding advocate engagement. Keynote speakers, panel sessions, round-table discussions and unique tours will offer a multitude of opportunities for brainstorming new ideas and sharing lessons learned among conference attendees.
